All arrangements will be made based on invoice. Items not indicated on invoices will not be booked. PLEASE NOTE ALL PRICES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE UNTIL BOOKED. By making payment on your Invoice you agree to comply with Being Jamaican’s Terms. By making payment you give Being Jamaican permission to make bookings on your behalf. All payments will be subject to the cancellation and refund policy of each vendor, that is, airlines, hotels and tours.

1.   Booking & Payment:
  • A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
  • Full payment must be completed at least 30 days prior to departure.
  • Payments can be made via credit card, bank transfer, or other accepted payment methods.
  • Round-trip international flights.
  • Domestic flights within Peru.
  • 7 nights hotel accommodation (double or single rooms).
  • Ground transportation within Peru (including airport transfers).
  • Admission to activities, including a Wine tour, Machu Picchu, Dune buggy and sand boarding tours.
  • Select meals as outlined in the itinerary (breakfast daily).
  • Travel insurance (mandatory and must be purchased by participants).
  • Travel insurance rates greater than $15 must be covered by traveller.
  • Travellers who participate in extreme sporting activities (ATV, paragliding, etc.) will be billed additional insurance.
  • Personal expenses (e.g., souvenirs, additional meals, snacks, and drinks, luggage fees).
  • Optional tours and activities not specified in the itinerary.
  • Tips for guides, drivers, and hotel staff.
  • Baggage fees beyond free allowances.
  • Full refund: Deposit is fully refundable prior to 14 days after payment.
  • 50% refund: If you cancel your booking prior to 30 days of departure, all payments are 50% refundable. (Deposit not included)
  • No refund: If you cancel your booking within 30 days of departure, all payments are non-refundable.

  • Refund processing can take up to 14 business days to process from the date of request.

  • Participants must comply with local health regulations.
  • Proof of health and travel insurance must be provided prior to departure.
  • Participants should notify organizers of any medical conditions or dietary restrictions.
  • No vaccinations are required. Yellow fever vaccination is recommended.
  • Altitude sickness can affect visitors to Machu Picchu and surrounding areas due to the high altitude. To minimize risks, gradually acclimate by staying well hydrated, and pace yourself during activities. Be aware of symptoms like headache, nausea, and dizziness, and seek medical attention if they persist.
  • The itinerary is subject to change due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Organizers reserve the right to make changes that enhance the experience or ensure safety.
  • The organizers are not liable for any delays, losses, or accidents during the trip.
  • Participants are encouraged to safeguard personal belongings at all times.
  • Minimum age requirement is 18 years.
  • Participants should be in reasonable physical condition for activities (e.g., ATV riding, sand boarding, hiking).
  • Participants must adhere to local laws and respect cultural norms.
  • Disruptive behavior may lead to removal from the trip without refund.

What is included in the tour?
The tour package includes international flights, daily breakfast, and accommodations, on the ground transportation including train, entrance fees to 3 activities. Please check the specific itinerary for detailed inclusions.

What documents are needed for international travel?
A valid passport is required. Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date.

What should I pack?
Pack according to the climate and activities planned. Essentials include comfortable, casual clothing, hiking shoes, hat and warm jacket. October is the start of spring in Peru. The weather is generally mild and pleasant, but can vary. Toiletries, travel documents and any necessary medications. Don’t forget a power adapter for electronics – Peru uses the 220V standard, so a travel adapter may be necessary!

How will we get around during the trip?
On the ground transportation for included activities will be provided as a part of the package, which includes bus, train and domestic flights.

What if I have dietary restrictions?
Please inform us of any dietary restrictions or allergies when booking. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Is travel insurance recommended?
Yes, it is highly recommended to cover unexpected events such as medical emergencies.

What happens if I arrive late or miss the group departure?
If you arrive late, please contact your trip leader as soon as possible. We will do our best to assist you, but please note that the group may not be able to wait for late arrivals.

Are there any age restrictions?
Yes, the trip is for adults only, persons who are 18 years and older.

Will there be a tour guide during the trip?
Yes, a host will accompany the group on the trip to provide insight, assistance with logistics and ensure a smooth experience.

How can I prepare for cultural differences?
